Our Apparatus Line-up

The Oliver Volunteer Fire Department has a specialize apparatus line-up for rescue demands best suited for our area here in the South Okanagan. Each apparatus has a specific usage and maintenance regime. The primary purposes of our fleet is to transport firefighters, water, rescue equipment, and medical supplies to an incident, for Emergency Operations.

Our 5 passenger Freightliner Chassis American LaFrance pumper truck was purchased in 2006, it is our "Second Out".

This 2009, 6 passenger Freighter Chassis Hub Fire Engine truck is our only rescue truck. It's used for MVI's (Motor Vehicle Incidents), water rescue, emergency medical and low angle rope rescue.
