Welcome to the
Oliver Volunteer Fire Rescue Society

The purpose of this society is to serve the Oliver Fire Department, it's members and our community.

The Oliver Volunteer Fire Rescue Society is an entity proudly dedicated to the Oliver Fire Department.  Its membership includes every active firefighter of the Oliver Fire Department, and it is registered through the province of British Columbia.

The Society was formed in 2020 and our primary responsibilities are to build and develop the kind of relationships necessary in firefighting, as well as, educate and raise community awareness of fire safety issues. We place focus on purchasing fire safety equipment and support education within the department.

The Oliver Volunteer Fire Rescue Society is passionate about helping Oliver's community and is known to donate regularly to local charitable organizations in need. Every year, hundreds of service hours are invested into raising funds for various reasons, some of which include the Spring Seminar, Fireball Cash Raffle, and the famous Drive-Thru breakfast. One of our newest fundraiser's is the Drive-Thru Car Wash, which is a lot of fun for the community and the kids LOVE it!
